Vulgaria is the most ridiculous film I have seen in a long time. A film producer visits a university to give a talk on what being a producer means. This involves lots of discussion on pubes and then a series of flashbacks into the producer’s life.
It is very, very silly and pointless, but I really enjoyed it. Perhaps it was because it was a nice change from all of the serious films of the festival. Perhaps it was because it was genuinely funny in its craziness. Whatever it was, I liked it.
Vulgaria screens on Sunday August 12 at 6:30pm and Wednesday August 15 at 9:00pm
